About the method
Oblique Strategies is a card deck created by Brian Eno and Peter Schmidt in 1975. Eno used it while recording albums with David Bowie, when the usual moves stopped working.
A card doesn't give you an answer. It shifts the angle you're looking at the block from — sometimes through a question, sometimes through a contradiction.
Deframe adapts this method for product and team decisions. If a card feels strange, that's the method working, not a bug.
The clearer the context, the sharper the card. Describe the block, not the task.
